Key-Mapping Settings:
- To use an existed key-mapping file, copy it into folder "\My Documents\MagiKB Lite", and then select it from [Menu]>[Keymap Files]
- Shift Key: The virtual key code of the Shift key on your device. Type an hex value in the text box or use the Get Key Code dialog to capture the key. This key should be defined for working with the D-pad feature
- Key Code: The virtual key or letter associated with a physical key. If the physical key produces a visible letter, set its type as Char; otherwise set its type as VKey
- Fake Key: Replace the original key with a new one, so that when the base key is pressed, the fake key will be sent instead of the original one. This option is only available when the key type is VKey
- Shift Code: The character or virtual key associated with the base key. It can be any value. For example, you can assign 'A' as the shift code to 'a', and you can also assign '#' to 'a' if you like. And you can assign a virtual key to it if its type is set to VKey. For example, you can assign the Power Off key to 'a'
- Option Code: This option has the same feature as Shift Code. It can associate another letter or virtual key with the same base key
- String: You can input a string here. Each character in this string will be cycled to display when you hold down the base key. When you release the key, the last shown character is input
- Comment: Your comments about this key
- Select [OK] to save; select [Cancel] to discard modifications; or select [Save as...] to save it as another key-mapping file
Trial Version Limitations:
You can try MagiKB Lite for 7 days without any limitation. After that period, it will deactivate automatically until it is unlocked.
Known Issues & Trouble Shooting:
MagiKB Lite is a program which "hooks" the keyboard. This means that it monitors each key press before the device actually sends that key press to the Windows Mobile operating system. Other programs that also hook the keyboard could cause problems with MagiKB and vice versa. We recommend that you use the trial version to verify that it works correctly with your other programs.
And there is a limitation on Windows Mobile, it is that there should be only one hooking program running at a time. This limitation causes some programs such as Treo Keyguard etc failed to operate and some other problems. Please use our HookMgr to resolve this matter.
How to Uninstall:
Click [Start]>[Settings]>[System]>[Remove Programs], and select "Mobiion MagiKB Lite ", and select [Remove].
