I was hoping I could use this program to detect when I press the spacebar twice rapidly, so that I could replace that with a period and a space, just as a Blackberry does. Very handy way to punctuate the end of a sentence with only the spacebar. But I guess you can't replace a key press with multiple characters. It could also be handy to insert common multi-character phrases, for example holding down the 'h' key could cycle through its normal single-character options and then offer something like 'http://' or any other longer phrase you need to write often.

I also would love to be able to use this program to enhance the built in Autocorrect features on Windows Mobile, which aren't too great other than capitalizing the first word of a sentence in some cases. For example I could type cant it it would be replaced with can't -- any programs out there that do this?

For me, the hold-and-cycle method works best, I disabled the double-press method since it interfered with typing two letters in a row.

Thank you for the suggestions. We will consider them when developing future versions.

More Suggestion:

Problem: many WM programs perform automatic shift-lock or caps-lock when their program is launched and is very annoying. We don't need those auto-shift anymore because of MagikB! They just mess my great typing experience with MagikB. Is it possible to overrun it so that they are not automatically activated?

thanks

I don't think we can override it. This behavior is implemented by programs, not by the system.

I have an idea.. How about if MagikB will only start to override the moment we begin to press a key or letter?
For example a certain software starts in shift-lock mode. Only when I start to type, MagikB should revert to none shift-lock mode before it displays the letter we just type. Possibly MagikB will repeat the same process each time we type a letter. How about that?

thanks Smiley

It's not possible. Those software automatically replace the entered letter with the capitalized regardless the shift key is being pressed or not.
And we don't want to affect software behaviors either.

Thanks.
