Hi,

First of all thanks for this great software.
I have install today the trial and make some test.

I have a problem with Outbound change number rule.
I don't know if what I'm trying to made is possible.
When I make a call my CallerID is never sended always hidden.
In france to unhide per call the CallerID we make *31# and after the regular phone number.

So I try to make a Outbound change number rule to change the destination number registered in my contacts as +331234567890 (+33 international for France) to *31#+331234567890 for all my contact who are in an Outlook Category named "AllowedID"

When I compose all number as *31#+331234567890 with the phone pad all is good. My  contact is called and my CallerID is right sended to the contact.

So here is my Rule:
- Filter Tab
Rule Name: Unhide Identity
Rule Type: Phone - Outbound
Filter type: Categories
Categories: AllowedID
- Opertaion Tab
Action1: Change number
Call to: *31#{phone}
- Others Tab
Between 19:24 and 19:24 on all days
Notice type : All checked

Here is the result:
- With given Rule
When I call +331234567890 nothing happened.
When I call *31#+331234567890 MagiCall execute the rule, but composed phone number is *31#*31#+331234567890
- Filter type option changed from Categories to all
When I call +331234567890 MagiCall execute the rule, composed number is right *31#+331234567890 but my operator says that composed number is invalid.
I composed the same number with standard phonepad and all is good.

Could you help me ?
Is what I try to make possible ?

Thanks in advance.

Hi fma2112,

Thank you for trying.
This is a limitation of MagiCall. It cannot add Network commands when changing outgoing number.
Let me explain my answer. *31# is a network command but a real phone number. Such commands must be sent first prior to dial the real number. That means, when you dial *31#+331234567890 with phone pad, the phone application recognize *31# and send a command to network before dialing +331234567890. And MagiCall only get notified when the phone app begin to dial +331234567890 and at this time the call is in process, so it is impossible to send network command anymore.

Here is the short answer, MagiCall is not able to add *XX# in front of an outgoing number because of a limitation.  Smiley

Hi,

Thanks in first for your rapid answer and in second for your clear explanations.

Could you implement (if possible) Network commands for outgoing change number rule in a future release ?

Thanks anywhere, your software is still the best one for phone "firewalling" !
I continue my test.

I'm trying to buy but When I click on buy button price is always $24.95 instead of $19.95.

Regards

Hi fma2112,

There are some technical difficulties. I'll have a try. But I cannot make a promise.   Roll Eyes

There was a bug in the mobihand shopping cart and it has been fixed. You can remove all the existed items in your cart and then click the "Buy Now" button again. Thank you.
