I have a HTC Touch Pro 2, running Windows Mobile 6.5. Have hardly any additional programs.

Bought and downloaded MagiCall last week. Set up rules for incoming calls and sms. Seemed to be working like I wanted. Then Thursday evening, I set the alarm feature that came with the phone, for a 6 am alarm. (I have it set that the alarm rings even if the phone is silenced).

You talk about screw things up. Friday morning was a wreck, had to shut down and restart several times. Seemed to finally work itself out. Seems to be working OK, but I don't dare reset alarms. Then this morning, the alarm went off at 6 am and when I looked, it didn't even show any alarms to be to be on. What is going on?

Does MagiCall become a component of the OS? When I X out of it (top right), it doesn't show in my Task Manager, but apparently is still running in the background.

Now another thing. Usually when I get another call on call waiting, I just ignore it. Had that happen today and the second call coming in was one that got caught by my rule "pick up and drop" but it was like I answered the second call, which I would have chosen not to do. Is it going to answer the second call if it fits and rule with "pick up and drop"?

MagiCall does not change your alarm settings. It might be changed by other things.

That's a normal behavior. "Pick up and drop" simulates an answering call operation followed by a hanging up operation. If there is already a call on going, the filtered call (the second call) will be either hung up (on GSM/WCDMA phones) or switched back to call #1 (on CDMA/Ev-Do phones).
