calling card: How to check cellphone minutes before placing a call

Hi, I just got billed $90 for going over my cellphone anytime minutes. I was wondering if magicall calling card script can be modified to make two calls. First one to call cell provider minutes available function then hangup and dial original number. I don't see a command to initiate a call but there is one to disconnect (hangup).
