so far i only do one thing: blackball certain callers to hangup or pick up and drop, and all it does is rings and rings and eventually goes into voice mail (even if i push - ignore slider- which i should not have to do i would think), i have not used magicall for about a month, but it used to work i do not get it - how do i fix or what am i doing wrong. i do not do anything complicated, just want people on list to never be able to talk to me or my voice mail.  maybe i am so old - i can't do something this simple

running>                   All
Profile name    blackballed

rule name linda
rt   incoming
cr  always
enabled always

filter    spec #
317-2xx-xxxx

act1 hang up or pick up and drop  (with either choice hd2 keeps ringing and then goes to voice mail)
act2  do nothing

i am testing with my home phone and also have this set up the exact way except rule name is mom, and i am caling from the home landline to my hd2 cell phone

i have reinstalled several times and tried by installing on both the sd card and the device memory, this is strange as it has never happened before

what i would really like to do is send all the undesirables to a local dial a prayer number and still use the phone and receive business calls from all others that are not on the list "blackballed"  , but i have not been able to figure how to do this

with the blackballed profile - i want magicall to pick up quickly and hang up on thes idiots, and them never get to my voice mail

bought the app in april 2010 i believe and have been promoting the hell out of it - but now either i or it has gone nuts

Please check your "Spec #" settings, and confirm if the caller number is hidden.
If you have several rules, check their orders. MagiCall applies rules in a top-down traversal.

You may have a test, change the filter type to "All" and then check if it can hang up calls.

i only have 3 rules, now,  in this order as mom was 3rd, but now moved to first
mom
linda
1st page google

changed all 3 rules to     all      and all rules are on      hang up

magicall notification poped up this time and said the phone call was hung up, but it went straight to my voice mail

the caller id on hd2 showed mom and the phone #, in the magicall pop up window, said hung up, brief pause of silence - then voice mail for hd2 came on for my business  http://www.onecallpestcontrol.com
************************************************************
"Please check your "Spec #" settings, and confirm if the caller number is hidden."

do not know exactly what u mean, but i see nothing that would indicate hidden and caller id shows up correctly on magicall popup

double checked by calling again, with same results

i also hard reset the hd2 yesterday - so everything is new virtually no mods

That meant MagiCall was installed properly on your device and worked fine.

Your "Spec #" must be in wrong format. There should be NO space between digits because space letter is used as a separator for comment.

For example

Wrong format: 123 456 789
Right format: 123-456-789
Right format: 123456789
