Use Contextual Parameter in Customized Notification

I want display SMS sender & content(or first n charactors) in notification (like a system notification, but the message has been mark as read -- I have unread message reminders installed, I'd like check some messages without open inbox,without open filtered log,without continually remind)

But it seems customized notification function does NOT support contextual parameters? I tried but only get parameter strings displayed.
