I have only one rule running:

Missed calls from ALL; Action 1 "System Default"; Action 2 "Send SMS"

My problem is:
Caller A calls in and I rejected the call, Magicall does nothing.
I opened Magicall and minimized it.
Caller B calls in and I rejected the call, Magicall works.
Then I did nothing and let my phone sit for 5 mins.
Caller B calls in and I rejected the call, Magicall does nothing this time.
Then after 1 minute,
Caller B calls in and I didn't pick up the call, Magical works this time.

Why is my Magicall working so inconsistently with my "Missed Call" rule? Please help.

I experimented with my Magicall for some time.

It seems to me that my Magicall needs the first call to wake it up, and then it will handle the second call properly.

However, if I let the phone sit for more than a few minutes, my Magicall needs another call to wake up again. That really annoys me!

I didn't replicate it here. I don't  know if it couldn't capture calls when a device is in sleeping. I will look into it.

Thanks.

FYI, it seems that the problem only occurs on "Missed Call" rule.

When I set up an "Incoming Call" rule and set Action 1 to "Hang up", it works even when my phone is in sleeping mode.

So... no one is following up my problem with the latest version?

I'm now using the previous version but I also want the profile functions... now I have to activate and de-activate the rules each time.

We couldn't reproduce it here. I will try to find out what changes made this problem.

Do you set "Apply always" for [Call rule] in the [General] tab?
This is a new option in v2.3. Thanks.

Yes I set it to "Apply always", but I don't understand why this option can make the rule not active some of the time.

Dear Admin,

I think I've found the cause of the problem. It seems that my Magicall clashes with my Pocketshield software... when I removed it from the system, the latest version works fine.

So, what should I do now? Because I want to keep both Pocketshield functions and Magicall's Profile function.

Thanks.

Hi Soltey,

Can you install the attached debug version? We want to know what has been changed in delivery reports in HD2.
After reproducing the problem, there will be two text files named like MagiCallxxx.txt and MGCxxx.txt under your device's root folder. Please send them with an email to support(at)mobiion.com.

Thanks.
