Tray Icon Issues

I am using v2.3.1 for my Samsung Blackjack II smartphone. I have a rule setup that marks certain incoming SMS messages as read and moves them to a particular folder. The rule notice type is set to "Display tray icon". Everytime a new SMS message comes in that triggers this rule the message is marked as read, moved to the folder I setup, and the tray icon changes to an exclamation point as expected. Unfortunately I am unable to reset the tray icon back to normal (acknowledge the notice) without opening up the Log Viewer in MagiCall. Obviously since the rule is not configured to log events there are no events in the log but the Log Viewer has to be opened anyway to acknowledge the event. Do I have the rule misconfigured or is there another reason I am having to open the Log Viewer? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
