Feature Request: Change Number for SMS

I use the Change Dialed Number to turn local outgoing numbers to the standard international format. However, I cannot do this for SMS.

Can this feature be added for outgoing SMS?

Just to clarify what I am looking for:

Let's say I have a number stored in my contacts as 021234567 and I am now back in the US. I can use the Change Dialed Number to drop the (0) and add the country code, say, +987 for example. Then I can just leave the number in my contact as 021234567 and when I call the number magical will dial +987 21234567.

However, this cannot be done when I want to send an SMS. I have to edit the number manually.

It would be a great addition if there were a similar feature to change outgoing SMS numbers.
