Ok i will do my very best to explain my set-up and my issue.

First,
Any time i use my credit card, i get a text message almost immediatly about the transaction.

The message always comes in like this
Quote
You have mail from customerservice@mytitanium.ca. Please reply with 'Read' to read your message.

so i have set up this rule

and it works great, i do not have to type read.
and the outcome is this

Now i have another rule setup.
What this rule does is send the balance of my card, that i just got, to my wifes phone.

using this rule

which also works great. But thie issue is, if anyone, and i do mean anyone send me a message that is more than say 2 lines long, they will get a response Read  and i will not be aware of the text message arriving.

does that make since?

A friend of mine sent me a text message today that said something like, hey are you going on xbox live tonight?  and my phone sent Read to him.

You should quote the whole line in SMS filter text box of your first rule.

SMS filter: "You have mail from customerservice@mytitanium.ca. Please reply with 'Read' to read your message."

In this way, MagiCall will treat the whole line as a keyword.

first thank you very much for your help its been awesome to get such a quick response.

I do have 2 more question.

when i get those messages they are from sender
31000
then the next one would be from
31001
and so on.

is there a way to wildcard a number

for example

if sender number is 310*  then do something.

and my second question is when the second rule from above kicks in, it comes up on my wifes phone from me.  is there a way to have it show up as it was sent from the orignal sender?  does that make since

There are two wildcards for you: * and ?.
'*' represents any number of digits, '?' represents one digit. For your case, you may use the following setting.

Filter type: Specific Number
Phone #: 3100?

Unfortunately there is no answer for your second question. It is not able to modify the sender number.
