I'm running into the same problem on the new HTC Touch Pro 2. I've used Magicall with the Touch Pro with no issues... I'm not sure what is different with this phone to cause the problem of not being able to answer(ring) or decline(ignore) a filtered call. I get the same prompt asking me what to do but choosing either option just silents the ring and ignores the call.

I would also like to point out a few differences I've noticed since going to this new phone:

1. using *67 filter for calls not in my contacts would make Magicall hang up when I dialed the number, then add the *67 to the number automatically and redial it automatically, with a short delay. The new phone doesn't do that. It just says "Dialing..." for a few short seconds(a bit longer than the normal time to dial a regular call) then the number shows up with the *67 in front of it and connects.

2. Filtered calls, no matter if it was pick up & hang up, ignore or anything else DO NOT show in the call logs on the Touch Pro 2. This is kind of an issue for me.

Phone OS: Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional
TF3D: 2.1
Magicall: 2.2

I have some questions for you.
1. Which version of MagiCall are you using?
2. When you press the "Ring" soft key, the notification window dismiss?
3. Does the call have a valid caller ID or have no caller ID?

Did you use "Change dialed number" or "Change dialed number (v2)"?

Did you the call log of the phone app or just MagiCall's log?

1: 2.2.2
2: Yes, the window dismiss
3: indifferent (valid caller ID or no caller ID)

Thanks a lot

Hi simone929, we need to run a debug version on your device to find out what causes the problem. I will make a debug version next week and let you know. Thanks.

Yes and both call logs.

It's correct not to add entries to the Phone Call Logs for filtered calls.
But there should be log items in MagiCall's log if your rules are with "Log Events" checked.
Can you confirm if your rules have "Log Events" checked?

Thanks.

Yes, it is checked. But I'm not sure why the phone would log the call in it's own log screen on the other phone if that's what's not supposed to happen. Maybe it was a fluke - however, it was one I liked and wish this new phone would do. Cheesy

Please let me know if there is a fix for the 'ring' button when a filtered call is ignored. Appreciate your help!

Debug versions attached. Please repeat the problem with the debug version, and then attach logs here. Logs are located under your device's root foder, names are MagiCall_Log1.txt and MagiCall_Log2.txt.

Hello simone929, there is a log file named MagiCall_Log1.txt, please send it too.

By the way, did you edit the log file? I saw the phone number in it appeared as xxxxxxx.

I need completely unchanged log files. Instead of posting them here, you may send those two log files to our support email. This will protect your phone numbers from being known by the public.  Smiley

Thanks.
