"Unidentified Sender" sms
«

My version 2.2.2 has been working well for quite some time now. However recently I have gotten SMS with "Unidentified Sender" in the "From" line.
I have five rules, in this order:
1) Names OK
This is an sms rule with the names of sms senders that I want to receive.
Action 1: System default
Action 2: Do nothing
2) Spam numbers
This is an sms rule with a list of the fake 4, 5 & 6 digit sender number that sms spammers use. Lots of ???? in this rule.
Action 1: Mark as read
Action 2: Do nothing
3) Anonymous
This is an sms rule with a filter for "anonymous".
Action 1: Mark as read
Action 2: Do nothing
4) Name Block
This is an sms rule that blocks sms from specified sender names. This works well.
Action 1: Mark as read
Action 2: Do nothing
5) Phone numbers
This is an incoming call rule that blocks specific numbers. Seems to work ok.
Action 1: Ignore
Action 2: Do nothing
After the first "Unidentified Sender" sms got through, I added "Unidentified Sender" to rule 4 as a named sender, thinking that maybe there was a really clever spammer with name "Unidentified Sender". Today I got a new sms from this source. Whoever this is, I really want to block this spam, because it contains links to websites. (Suuuuuurrrrrre, I'm going to click on a link to an isp address...). I worry that there may be hidden scripts in this spam.
Any ideas? I sure hope there is a solution, because this app has been spared me so many interruptions and wasted time. It is one of three "must-have" apps on my phone.

Nobody?
I did my homework, reading back through lots and lots of postings. I could not find anyone with this problem.
If the "Unidentified Sender" tag is system generated, then it is anonymous, yet not caught by the anonymous rule.
If the tag is a sender name, it should be caught by the blocked names rule.
I don't understand what the situation is.
Can anybody give me some ideas, help, similar experiences?

WAP Push SMS are not able to filter. I think the "Unidentified Sender" SMS is one of them.
You may create one SMS rules like the following and
move it to the first place
.
Rule type: SMS
Filter type: All
Action1: Pass on to next rule
Action2: Do nothing
Notice type: "Log Events" must be checked
Once you receive an "Unidentified Sender" SMS, go to MagiCall Log Viewer and see if there is something captured. If nothing is captured, that means the SMS is not able to be filtered.

Ust got another txt message from "Unidentified Sender".
I have created the rule that you suggested:
1) Type SMS
Action 1: pass on to next rule
Action 2: do nothing
Log events.
Noting captured in the Log.
So, does this mean that a WAP push is impossible to stop???? This is more than a pain in the A**, it's also a huge security issue.
Is there no technical possibility of blocking these messages?
