I'm in the first day of my trial with MagiCall and I'm very impressed.

My primary purpose for using the program is to make outgoing Google Voice calls.  The procedure is identical to using a calling card.

Is there any way to silence the speaker so that I don't hear the voice prompts and DTMF tones while the script is executing and then turn the speaker back on again when the script is complete?

If not, could this be added as a feature request?

It is annoying to listen to all of that while waiting for the script to do it's thing.  Granted, there would be a brief period of silence, but I'd rather have that.

Thanks for a great program!

MagiCall works great with GV.
I hear the voice prompt but no DTMF tones.

I have the following rule set.
Rule type: Outgoing
Filter: contacts
Phone#: the persons phone number

Action1: Change number
call to: 1-XXX-XXXX,,PIN,,2, {phone}#   XXX-XXXX= your google number
Action2: nothing

Everything else is off.  no log, no notification

If your get an error on the pin add another comma before the pin.

ShadiestOne-

Thanks for the reply.

I have MagiCall set up almost exactly the same way as you do, and it is working great for me as well.

I was just hoping for some way to turn off the speaker before the script operates and turn it back on again when the script finishes so that I wouldn't hear the voice prompts.  In addition to Google Voice users, I would imagine that anyone using a calling card would appreciate not hearing the voice prompts as well (that is, once they know that their script works!).

Good suggestion. Will consider it in a future version.
