hi,
one again,
for some weeks i tried magicall and had problems -> it doesn'T work on my image version.
out there are a lot of users which are using it, so it can only be, that the newer notification system or some other different things can't handle the newer version.
so my question is:

does it works under wm6.1 ?
does it works under wm6.5 ?
does it works with last manila version ? Manila version 2.0.37901.7

my system is a HTC HD with:
wm6.1
CE OS 5.2.21051 (Build 21051.1.6.4 L26)
Rom version 1.57.831.1 (47324) WWE
Radio 1.13.25.24

and here dosn't work.
maybe somebody can tell if it is running on the same image.
would be interessing to find out why it doesn't work.

maybe there is somewhere a newer debug version, which have more log options + time stamp would be really helpfull...

FYI: in log file, i doesn't see there any events logged, so it seems t be, that magicall doesn't recognise the events.

if i remember me, the events handling is different on the newer images (wm6.5, newer wm6.1 - the notification modus is different - maybe this info helps..)

WM6.1 -- Yes
WM6.5 -- Should be working, not tested
Manila  -- Not compatible

thanks for answer ....
well, i'm testing where the problem is (i tired to foind out for some weeks - now again ..)
see also: http://www.mobiion.com/forum/index.php/topic,497.0.html

OK,
now i spend more time to find out where the problem is.

1.) disabled all autostart programms + all services and i see it doesn't work also.
2.) then i do a fresh install inclusive start plugin + created empty rules for every event + log options for today plugin
3.) active the today plugin and tried it
now i got it working.

after testing activated all Programms in start folder + services again
and it works also.....
(so i'm sure it also works with "AE Button", "csdevctrl", SIP Changer, and a lot of other programms which are starting ....

so now i have to find out where is the bug ....
maybe it could be:
a) if today plugin isn't installed and rules with Notice type:
 "Display tray icon" - ON
 "Show notification" - ON
 "Enable beep sound" -ON
 "Log Events" - ON
b) activated TF3D (manila)
c) ....

more news .. in few minutes/hours ....

ok:
1.bug (or first user mistaken from my side)
if under rule: Appointment "subject" - if not empty, then it doesn't work.
(sorry - it seems to be my mistaken, and i don't understand for what the apoinment should be.
i was thinking that this is not a filter - i was thinking that i can send an appointment and/or subject for email.
now i know, that first line under "messages" is the subject line for email.

2.Bug, if i disable a rule which have ex:subject inside(on the top -first rule), then it doesn't work also after a restart.
3.Bug - not always is the carriage return working in text field. (strange -sometimes 2 carrige return are only 1 and first line take only 1 carr. return for the subject line... hmm ...)

but the real problem, that it complete doesn't work (incl. problems on starting , duration to call ~20sec, i haven't found.
maybe TF3D is the problem, i will do testing if it is running smoothly as i want it.

Hi Camel,

1. Not a bug. Appointment options are working as rule triggers. If you set certain appointment subject, the rule will be triggered only when there is a appointment with the certain subject opening in your Calendar. Same effect to other appointment options.

2. Did you mean it was working after just disabled the rule, and then it did not work after a restart?

3. What is the carriage? I am sorry I did not understand this.

Thanks.
