hi cybermailer.

What is mobibox?  If it is your voicemail box, then what I do is just add another rule under my known number rule with Action1 as Hang up (Ignore).

For example:

Rule 1:  Your known numbers rule.

Rule 2: Other Callers:
Rule Type: Incoming Calls
Filter Type: All
Action1: Hang Up
Action2: Do Nothing.

I think with some Providers the Hang Up doesnt go to voice mail, so you can try Ignore.  Hang Up works for me.

Hope this helps.

Yes in Germany we say mobilbox (an english word Smiley - means voicemail)

First of all i should say what the programm should do: 08:00-18:00 - All can call me // an between 18:01-07:59 - Only Contact can call me.

I use windows mobile 6.1 -> Before i reinstalled My Ipaq it worked withoud any problem.

But yet i cannot still remember how i configured magicall. But i know that i used only two rules.

1.: From Monday to Thursday

Rule type: INCOMING CALL
Filter type: Unknown Number
Enabled: always
Action1: Pick up and drop
Action2: nothing
Between: 18:29-9:59

2.:Thursday to Sunday

Rule type: INCOMING CALL
Filter type: Unknown Number
Enabled: always
Action1: Pick up and drop
Action2: nothing
Between: 18:29-18:29

My problem ist that callers only hear a beep beep beep (sound like line is busy).
But i want to inform my customers when they can call me. In further times i used to bring the callers into my voicemail box - but why it don't work again?

Have you any idea - help - or an other way to inform the callers?

->What works now:

The unknown callers cannot call me until Mo-Th 18:29-9:59 & Friday-Sunday.
Known numbers can call me every time.

thx

I think it is because you are using Action1:Pickup and Drop.  Instead, try Action1:Hang Up.  For me, "Hang Up" takes them to my voicemail where I can leave the caller instructions.

Also, I think you have to split the rules at midnight.

So you can try this:

1a.: From Monday to Friday

Rule type: INCOMING CALL
Filter type: Unknown Number
Enabled: always
Action1: Hang Up
Action2: nothing
Between: 0:00-9:59

This will send unknown numbers in the morning before work to voicemail.

1b:: From Monday to Friday

Rule type: INCOMING CALL
Filter type: Unknown Number
Enabled: always
Action1: Hang Up
Action2: nothing
Between: 18:29-23:59

This will send unknown numbers in the evening after work to voicemail.

2.:Saturday to Sunday

Rule type: INCOMING CALL
Filter type: Unknown Number
Enabled: always
Action1: Hang Up
Action2: nothing
Between: 18:29-18:29

This will send all unknown numbers on Saturday and Sunday to Voicemail.

Hope this works, otherwise will have to see if others can help.  If not, the Admin will probably solve with easy rules.

Here is another option that may work with just 2 rules:

i used only two rules.

1.: Monday to Friday

Rule type: INCOMING CALL
Filter type: All
Enabled: always
Action1: System Default
Action2: nothing
Between: 10:00-18:30

This will allow all calls to come in during work.

2.:Everyday

Rule type: INCOMING CALL
Filter type: Unknown Number
Enabled: always
Action1: Hang Up
Action2: nothing
Between: 18:29-18:29

This will hang up all unknown numbers not filtered by Rule 1 and should send them to voicemail..

Hope this works.

These two rules look simple and good.  Smiley

yes - the rules work - but also my rules work - the only problem is that hang up or other rules didn't put the callers into my voicemail box.

But i want that caller which are filtered by the rules are in the box. So they can leave a message.

hang up - doesn't work it like the ignore feature.
pick up and drop - doesn't work
an the other tools also.

What's wrong?

Not sure what the issue is on your end.  For me:

Hang Up - sends call to voice mail immediately
Ignore - sends call to voice mail after several rings (depending on the default)
Pickup & Drop - does not send call to voice mail.

Let's see what the Admin has to say.

Is your voicemail working normally when not using MagiCall?

I think you need to configure "Call Forwarding" service on your phone. In most cases, your operator would set your voicemail number on your phone automatically through STK programs. It might be not for some reasons. You may ask your mobile operator for details.
