Hi Admin,

I am trying to understand how SMS Block works.  I have rules to block all SMS from unknown or anonymous numbers except those in my contact list.  The rules work for regular phone numbers with 10 or more digits, yet SMS from 5 or 6 numbers get through the filter.  I know I can set up additional rules to block these 5 or 6 numbers by ????? or ?????? but I am just curious to know why my current rules will not block these 5 or 6 digit numbers.

Thanks,

Could not replicate the problem here. It might be the same problem as the CallIDMatch one.

Thanks.  My current rules did block some 6 digit SMS today so you are probably right.  I guess it's just best to put in a few ?????? rules to ensure none get thru.
