Hi,

For incoming call from contact group, I set Action1 - System Default, Action2 - 'Send SMS' to '{mobile}'. In appointment additional filter, I set Busy Status - 'Busy' and set a category. Also set all days, all time in 'Others' tab.

Now when this filter trigger, 3 SMS will be send back to the caller instead of one!

It's a bug!

But if I remove appointment additional filter for the same filter, it will send only 1 SMS back to the caller, which is the right functionality.

Thanks
Test King

Thank you for the bug reporting. But I could not repeat the problem here.
How many rules do you have? I am thinking if other rules sent those extra SMS.

No more filters than I specified.

I will do onething to help you to track the bug. I have attached the MagiCall files in 'My Documents' (Whenever I hard reset my PPC, I will copy this folder to 'My Documents' and I will get all my MagiCall setting back)

In the rules, there is a rule with name 'In Meeting - SMS'. When I created a appointment with Category 'Meeting', the caller will get 3 SMS.

Phone :- HTC P3400
OS :- Windows Mobile 5
Provider :- BSNL (India)

Hope this will help

Hello TestKing,

Thank you for the file. I still did not reproduce the bug with your rules.
I think it might be a problem with the SMS router. By default the SMS router will retry sending the message according to a pre-defined short-term retry schedule. There is a flag for me to turn it off. I will add it as a registry switch to the next version.

Thank you.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

That's fine. May be problem with something related to my phone/network provider. The solution you suggested is good. Smiley
