Congratulations team! I find your product very useful! But I have
suggestions to make it even better:

1. Add a combined "SMS + CALL" option in Rule type that should
blacklist both SMS and CALL of a particular contact number. Currently,
i have to set them individually which takes time.

2. An Operation that erases our own "call logs" and "sent items"
towards a contact that is blacklisted.

3. An option to Run or Stop filters individually and not all at once.
Currently Run and Stop applies to all filters at once. For example
during office wanna filter only none business contacts.

4. An ability to apply the filters to messages that are already
present in inbox. Like transfer them to another folder and an option
to restore them when needed.

that's all for now, regards,
jhor
(I already emailed a copy of this request because I didn't notice this forum immediately)

EDIT:
5. Add a WHITELIST rule. The purpose is to exclude some exceptional numbers that are covered by the filter rule. For example I wanna filter all unknown numbers but except unknown numbers with 277* so I put 277* in the WHITELIST.

magicall does everything except no.4 which is absolutely user specific since you can create sms filters in many other ways.
you should read and search through the forum carefully before posting the question already being answered.

that's all for now, regards.

Thanks for these suggestions.  Smiley

1. We have plans to implement it in a generic way, but it will not be done soon.

2. This would be better to be done as a standalone tool. I will make it when I have spare time.

3. Current version has already had this feature. You can enable or disable rules individually.

4. Good suggestion. I will consider it in future versions.

5. Already existed in current version. Please read this thread: How to make white list with MagiCall

2. I mean it should be done automatically leaving no trace of conversation in the phone log (except in magicall logs)

3. Yeah thanks Smiley It's already present! I didn't notice the tap and hold Smiley

cheers Smiley

 in the WHITELIST.[/b]
This is the idea. Suppose I make two filters named "Wife & "Girlfriend."  If I enable "Wife" and disable "Girlfriend" then all my girlfriends soon-to-come communications as well as our messages(that are already in the inbox and sent-items) are automatically filtered and hidden.   But if I enable "Girlfriend" then all our hidden texts in the inbox/sent-items are restored.
Ofcourse that's just an example scenario and I have no plan to apply it. Smiley

cheers!!!!!  Grin
