Would it be possible to reply to blocked SMS with an SMS?

My rationale is that if a genuine SMS is blocked and the sender recieves a rely SMS saying that their SMS has been blocked, then they can call (my landline) and I can readjust the filters to avoid lossing important messages.  Another reason is that I may actually want someone to know that I am blocking their SMS.

Thank you.

Certainly, just use Action2 to do it.
Here is an example:

Rule type: SMS
Filter type: Unknown Number
Action1: Delete
Action2: Send SMS
To: {phone}
Message: You are blocked, blah blah blah

Thank you very much for the quick response.  So far, this is a very good SW program compared to the others out there that I am trying out.

Suggestion:  Add this explanation to  FAQs Knowledge Base.

Interesting Issue:  Endless loop

For those that want to use the "Reply Blocked SMS with SMS" Rule, beware of creating an endless SMS loop!!

I receive SMS notifications on use of my bank account from my bank and these come with those short 5 digit numbers as phone numbers eg. 12345.  Because I didn't have this number in my contacts it triggered my rule:

Rule type: SMS
Filter type: Unknown Number
Action1: Default
Action2: Send SMS
To: {phone}
Message: You are blocked.

(PS. When I set up the rule, since I don't receive many SMS, I didn't want to delete the SMS in case it was important.  If not important or spam, then I added the number to another similar rule which deletes SMS).

Now, it so happens that the bank also replies SMS with SMS (I wonder if they also use MagiCall  Grin) and therefore they also block incoming SMS with an SMS reply.  So an endless cycle of sending SMS was triggered between me and the Bank!!  Fortunately, it was very easy to terminate my rule in MagiCall.

I am now checking to see if the 5-digit number in the Banks SMS is always the same in all their SMS and will add that number to my contact list.  In the interim, since all the Bank's SMS contains the BankName, I have modified my rule as follows:

Rule type: SMS
Filter type: Unknown Number
SMS filter: ~BankName
Action1: Default
Action2: Send SMS
To: {phone}
Message: You are blocked.

Just curious to know if there is a rule that can be written to break SMS loops or if some featue can be added to limit the number of SMS replies to the same number in a certain time period.

Thanks.

Sure, go to MagiCall Options, select [Advanced] tab (only if you are using the Pocket PC version), set a value to [Send SMS/Email once every minutes].
