Hi there,

Thanks for your greta job on Magicall.

I read the user guide but I am not sure how the filter works.
I don't want message with "Love you" shown, what should I do?
If you can quote an example it should be great.

Use

1. Must include:  +"Love you"  (is it means that the message filtered MUST have the string "Love you"?)
Or
2. Must not include: -"Love you" (is it means that the message filtered MUST NOT have the string "Love you"?)
Or
3. Just type: "Love you" in the SMS filter?

Sorry I am quite confused as I cannot simulated/filter the message in my HTC Touch Diamond.

Also, the screen is blank as I tried to change te filter type to Specfic number and tried to select the OUTLOOK Contacts.  I tried to select from the call log, the screen mess up.  I believe it is incompleted job in the VGA development.

I look forward to your answer.  Thank you.

Thank you, Peter.

You may just put "love you" in the [SMS filter] text box. Here is an example for you:

Rule type: SMS
Filter type: All
SMS filter: "love you"
Action1: Delete
Leave all other settings default

Did you upgrade MagiCall from v1.x? If so, please try this RC version of v2.2: http://www.mobiion.com/MagiCall22_PPC_Eng.CAB
It is not a VGA compatible issue. It might be a bug of broken registry entries for upgrading from v1.x to v2.x, which is fixed in v2.2.

Hope this can help you. Thanks.

Thank you for your prompt reply.

I am not upgraded from 1.x.  I just try the 2.1 trial version.
The 2.2 version now can tackle the key word filter in sms.
However, how can I keep the messages in other folder rather than delete them?

I tried
Action 1: Move
To Folder:  (No matter I set it in the \My Documents\MagiCall\ (Memory) or \Storage card\; there is none of messages or file appears)

The selection of Outlook Category or Call log appears normally.

Thank you for your great support job and look forward to your response.

Hi, that doesn't mean a file folder; that means a folder in the message storage.
You can use the system built-in message program to browse folders: [Menu]>[Go to]>[Folders...]
