I have installed Mobicall on my Verizon Motorola Q with Windows Mobile 5. It looks fantastic, and runs fine upon installation. Whenever I have to restart the phone, however, I get the "service did not start" error and have to reinstall. From reading the forum, this seems to be a problem with the certificate. I downloaded and installed MobiRoot.CAB, which appeared to install successfully, but nothing in the phone's list of root certificates looks like one for Mobiion. I have completed the app unlock process on my phone, and confirmed the registry keys for the app unlock. Not really sure where to go from here. Any ideas how I can get the certificate properly installed? What will the certificate's name be on the phone's list?

If the certificate installer reports success, it have been installed. Did you try to re-install MagiCall after mobiion certificate had been installed?
To check if mobiion certificate is installed properly, please use a registry editor to check if this key is existing: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\Security\SystemCertificates\Privileged Execution Trust Authorities\Certificates\ff55ee4febda4ca3b9e91f4809479c61f69c0def]

Yes, I reinstalled Magicall after the certificate installation. I tried a few different permutations, like not installing the today screen plugin, just in case. That registry key IS present, with one value inside named "Blob".

That's weird. Can you check if this string value is present in the registry?
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\init] "Launch31"="MGCLoader.exe"

hm. It looks like MGCLoader fails to load in the init step. Can you dump the registry key [HKLM\init] to a file and send it to me? I want to analysis the initialization orders.
Here is a workaround for you, you may delete "Launch31" and "Depend31" from registry key [HKLM\init], and then create a shortcut to MGCLoader.exe, and put the shortcut to folder "\Windows\Startup"

Here is the [HKLM\init]. Putting the shortcut in worked well for me and is a good solution if you can't figure out the initialization.
