Hi -

2.1 has adressed my request for filtering SMS by "anonymous". This is working well so far.

Now I discover another trick the spammers are using: they put a dummy number in the "From" field. These dummy numbers are all 5 digits - all less than any real phone number. So far, these fake numbers all start with the number 8.

I can't figure out if it's possible to use the rules to filter by how many digits there are in the from field. I figure that I can't put a sting of 5 wildcards, because this shorter string would always be part of the longer string of a real phone number. I also don't think that I can have the number 8 followed by four wildcards, for the same reason: this would trigger, for example, 876-5432

Is there some way?

If there is not, could you please add this feature to V3.0?

Thanks for a much-improved product!

Please use wildcard '?', take a look at the following example:

Rule type: SMS
Filter type: Specific number
Phone #: 8????

Hope my answer can help you.
