I have been testing the September 27th 2.1 build and I have noticed Pickup & Drop does not always work. The phone will pickup, but it will not drop. As a safety measure, can magicall also mute both ends so the phone does not make audible noise from the other line and so the other line doesn't hear anything from the microphone?

Edit: It appears that Pickup & Drop does not work nearly as well as the previous 2.0.0.173 build.

This might be device compatible issue. We have no good solution to avoid it completely. What device do you have?
On working devices,  they are muted after picking up and before hanging up.

I am using a Samsung i760 with WM6.1.

Are you muting on both sides? I didn't test if the other side can hear me, but I can hear them.

The problem with the internet connection not being able to dial ( http://www.mobiion.com/forum/index.php?topic=339.0 ) and the PickUp&Drop both seem to be working worse than in 2.0.0.173. They weren't perfect before, but they were much better.

Indeed we hold the line after picking up, both sides should hear nothing.
I tested it on Samsung i780 with WM6.0, didn't find problem. I will test it one more time and let you know the result.

It looks like you flashed an unofficial WM6.1 rom to your device. As I know, there is no official WM6.1 rom for i760 yet.

I did flash my device, however it was with the official release. On this webpage, http://support.vzw.com/phones/index.html?p=3364 , you can see the link for "Device Software Update" at the bottom right corner under Downloads. This links to http://www.samsung.com/us/i760/windowsupgrade

Also, my exchange server forces a password after 5 minutes of activity. Have you tested with this password dialog on the screen? I wonder if that is preventing muting or hangup.

Not sure. I don't use exchange. I want to have a test. Do I need to download specific software?

Start > Settings > Lock

Enable that as a simple PIN. You don't need exchange, but exchange is forcing me to use that.

I just tested it with the device lock enabled. But I did not replicate the issue.  Sad

Hmm, I wonder if the way ActiveSync works is actually what is creating some of these problems.

If you don't have access to an Exchange server, can you try signing up for this service, it is free
http://services.mail2web.com/FreeServices/m2wLive/

Then go to Start > Programs > ActiveSync... then menu configure server to set everything up.

I think ActiveSync tries to maintain an active data connection for push email. It seems like magicall might be conflicting with this.

Coud not replicate the problem even with Exchange Server synchronizing.
When ActiveSync was synchronizing with the exchange server, the caller could not reach my phone, he just received a busy tone. I think this was done by the network gateway.
After the sync done, he could make calls to my phone, and was blocked by MagiCall.

I tested it on my Samsung i780 with ROM DXHH1.
