Is there a way to filter all calls except a certain few that would be too important to miss. Ex; My Wife or certain family members.

Also..... If possible the same for SMS.

the "contact" are those sim contacts or contacts in the phone its self?

Both, unless you disable SIM contacts by unchecking [Look into SIM contacts] in options.
