Hi there, i just downloaded your trial and im trying to see if i can set a rule on a sprint mogul 6800 with windows mobile 6.1, I want it to mute when an sms with test in subject field is received, so that the message is accepted but there is no notification or noise when it receives it. It looks pretty stright forward, but it is not working.
Here are my settings.
Rule Name:test Rule type:SMS Filter Type:All SMS Filter:test
I have the Rule Enabled
Under Operations
Action 1:Mute Action 2:Do Nothing
Under Appoitments I left them Defaults
Under Others :I unchecked All except for Log Events
Now i want is when i send an SMS message with the word test in the subject , that it makes no noise and just receives the message. However i keep getting the default sms message plink noise and the message test pop up.
Many Thanks Rick

One more thing to add, i just sent the test message again, it maid the plink sound and showed test in message field, i then went into the logs and it shows this
Basic Information
type:SMS Time:xxxxxxxxxx From:xxxxxxxxxx Action1:Mute Subject:test
Advanced Operation Do Nothing
So it shows that it is being triggered but i cannot stop that annoying plink noise, and from poppng up the test message. I also tried launching an application along with the mute and it does launch the application but does not mute or stop the popup, i also tried setting it to forward and even that works fine, Everything else seems to be working it is only the mute that is not functioning.
Many Thanks once again
Rick.

Ok this program is really neat,I have played with it for a few days now, And it is really amazing, But i really need this capability to mute upon receiving an SMS message. I just purchased 3 copies, in the hopes that someone from the tech support dept will answer my request.

Hello ccatalyst, thank you for supporting us. The mute function works well on WM6.0. But from WM6.1, it comes with a new threaded SMS which has some compatible issue with the mute function. We will try to find a solution in next minor update. Thanks.

At present, you may use the "Move to folder" option which will not make sound on receiving messages.

Nope it did not work, i select Move as the first action, then for the folder i put Deleted Items. But it still makes the windows plink.

Can you tell me if "Delete" works well on your device?

Yes it does, but just to make absolutly sure about the moving replacing mute issue, i selected my email account , under options , advanced, then i told it to move it into my inbox, but it still makes the default plink sound when an sms is received.

Thank you for the info. What minor version of MagiCall are you using - 2.0.0.xxx?
We fixed a bug in 2.0.0.173: Fixed: For WM6.1, Threaded SMS still has a copy in its inbox when using Action1 "Move to a folder".
If you are using an earlier verison than 173, please download the latest version and try if "Move to folder" works without sounds.

If you can please let me know when this is done, doing this mute messaging was the main reason i bought this program, actually a few copies, Which is to send a message quietly for an automation script im running with mortscript. If you can at least give me a time frame of the fix,it would be great.
Many Thanks Rick.

We are going to release a minor update in September. We need your help for resolving this issue. We didn't reproduce the problem on our WM6.1 devices. Will you help us test beta version when it is ready? Thanks.
