I am using the latest version 2 of MagiCall on a WM6 Pro Samsung i780 PPC with touch screen.

I have a problem with a SMS rule type which has stopped muting incoming SMS between the set times. Please could let me know where to look for further adjustment or settings. The rule has worked up to now on my i780.

My rule is setup as follows:
Filter
The filter type is: All
Operation
Action1 is: Mute, and, Action2 is: Do Nothing
Appointment
The Meeting Status, Sensitivity, and Busy Status, are all set to: Any
Others
I have set Between times and days, and all notifications are on.

The "Answer calls after this seconds" under Options in the Advanced tab cannot be saved as zero and always reverts to 1 second after saving. Can this have something to do with my problem?

Any ideas are welcome.

Is there any other SMS rule above this one in the rule list? I just thought maybe other SMS rules passed the SMS through.
And please check if you have stopped MagiCall or disabled this rule by accident.

Have you tried to soft reset your device? Lack of resources may cause some strange problems.
The last possible cause is the trial period expired. It will not happen if you unlock it.

The "Answer calls after this seconds" option is related to incoming call rules with the "Answer" action. It does not affect other rules. It cannot be less than 1 second.

Hi Admin,

I just noticed there is a new version 2.0.0.170 in another thread so I downloaded it, installed it, & my rule is working again.

For your info in answer to your questions:

  • This is the only SMS rule. I have a Missed Call rule above it which sends an SMS if a call is missed, but thus is a Missed Call type rule.
  • I have reset my device several times.
  • This is the latest bought/licensed version.

I also tried the rule by selecting all categories in the Appointment tab, which are not selected by default, but it made no difference. The rule was working without categories selected in any case.

The strange thing is that the other rules are all working perfectly so something was fixed in v2.0.0.170.

Thanks for a great piece of software.

Hm, I didn't fix anything related to SMS filtering in build 2.0.0.170
But I am glad to hear that it is working again. Thanks.  Smiley
