Few days ago I post this:

"I am running MagiCall 2.0.0.165 on a Qtek S100 with WM 2003.  I set up a rule to Pick up and hold an incoming call from a certain number but when I tried it auto answers the call. How come?"

which never got a response, perhaps it's not a clear question, I am not sure, but if the admin needs clarification he could ask me...

NOW there is a real problem wthi Magicall because each time the call is filtered by Magicall after that my PPC froze, again, why is that so???

Would the admin be kind enough to give support to the people who bought Magicall software which doesn't work???

Hi KIMW,

I apologize that I forgot to answer your question. I have no solution for the problem currently. I guess that problem was caused by data connections but I cannot confirm. You may try to disconnect your data connection and test if problems gone.

Can you tell me which type of rule caused your PPC froze? And which action was taken? Thanks.

Sorry but I am quite new in this world and I don't understand what do you mean by "disconnect your data connection"...
My PPC froze actually with any type of the rules after I clicked on the notification icon (top bar) which says that a a call has been filtered.

You may disconnect existing connections from [Start]>[Settings], select [Connections] tab, select [Connections] icon, tap [Manage existing connections], tap and hold the stylus on each item on the table in that window to open the context menu, and then select [Disconnect].

Or maybe there are some tools can disconnect connections for you, but I don't have one currently.

I didn't reproduce the froze problem here. What device do you have?

There is a known issue to "Pick up and drop" and "Pick up and hold", which only answers the call but not drops it or holds it. This issue happens sometimes. But I have not found a good solution currently.

I didn't reproduce the froze problem on my WM2003 device. I tested in these steps:
1. Make a rule to hang up all outgong call with notifications
2. Call a number, and MagiCall hangs it up and shows a notification
3. I can click the icon on the title bar, and click the [Log Viewer] button without any problem

You may try to reset your device to check if it happens again.

If you are not satisfied because of the problems, and in the 30 day money back period, you may request a refund.
If you bought the product from our website, please send your request to our support email. If you bought from other website, please send request to them.

Thanks.

Mine froze after I click the icon on the title bar, it doesn't go up to the Log Viewer button even.
Of course once a soft reset has been done everything becomes normal ... until I receive another call which has been filtered through Magicall...!

I am using the 2.0.0.165 version which is not a beta version (I think!) so if you cannot find a solution for this problem but also for the problem with "Pick up and drop" and "Pick up and hold", that only answers the call but not drops it or holds it, then yes I'll ask for a refund.

I believe these symptoms only occur when you install over a preexisting copy.  if you uninstall the previous version and make sure everything is deleted (files, folders, reg) soft reset and then install the newest version you may have a much more dependable program.  As well don't uncheck anything from the checkbox when installing... all the components are small but I've seen strange behavior when taking things off the installation.

That shouldn't be. You can uninstall any modules except the core module.

I have no solution, sorry. It seems like MagiCall conflicts with your system or some software installed on your device.

Shouldnt be but seems to be so at least in my case.  I had the same symptoms whereby pick up and drop did not work and the call would connect.  This is just what seemed to work... when you install all modules and install fresh

Unclick the option to have magicall starting upon reboot > soft reset > Uninstall > delete folders, search registry for any entries and delete, delete log files > turn off your phone for about 20 secs to allow ram to be written > soft reset > install (dont take out any modules)... Im not saying anything's guaranteed but everytime I tried to install over an old copy I got the same results of the call staying connected instead of pick up and hang up... when I install it as above I get a much more stable program... in other words it's working for me.

How can I find all MagiCall registry entries?

Just remove key [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\MagiCall]
