I am running MagiCall 2.0.0.165 on a Treo 700WX from Verizon with WM 5.  I set up a rule to block an incoming call from a certain number.  I first tried just a plain hangup and that just sends the call to VM.  Not what I wanted.  I then tried Pickup and drop and that only seems to work about 1/2 the time.  It usually auto answers the call.  I wanted to have the rule also e-mail me when this happened as a rule 2 type action and that confused the phone even more.  Am I just out of luck on this and getting it to properly hang up?

You may try to add these two registry entries to your device and then check if Pick up and drop can work well.

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\MagiCall]
"CallOperDelay"=dword:000002EE
"PickupTime"=dword:000007D0
"HangupTime"=dword:00001F40

*sigh*  Looks like I spoke too soon.  I let the phone sit for about 10 minutes and tried it again and it answered the call and left the call open til I hung up manually.  Tried restarting the phone and it did the same thing again.

I just made a beta. Hope this one can work for you. There is a little problem in this beta, every time it hangs up a call, you device will return to Today Screen (don't worry, your programs are still running)

Try the attatchment.

I greatly appreciate the special build.  Thank you.  Here is what I noticed.  As long as the phone is awake, meaning the display is on, the phone will general do as it should with an answer/drop.  However once the screen goes dark and the phone is in standby (guess that is the term) when a call comes in the phone is not waking up first, (the screen stays dark, unlike regular calls when it lights up) but rather just answers the call and leaves the line open for 30 seconds before it terminates the call. After that I have to reboot the phone to get Magicall working right again.  I am more than happy to help test and get you any info you want from the phone if you want to invest the time.  If not I completely understand Smiley  The Treo's can be a pain to get things to work right when the phone is in standby.

Okay a little more work on the phone and I have some more information.  I completely uninstalled and removed the whole reg key, rebooted, re-installed to the main memory this time instead of the storage card and seem to have better luck.  I can get the answer and drop to work with the screen lit or dark.  My phone does have EVDO Broadband access from Verizon on it and from time to time gets a data connection going.  That seems to be what will stop the Magicall from working properly now is when a call comes in and the phone is doing data traffic as well.  I will keep testing Smiley

Thank you. I think data traffic is the most possible reason.
