I've turned off the "Always show tray icon" under "Option", I've also turned on "Display tray icon" and "Log events". Under such settings, tray icon will be displaying only when there is a notification. it works ok for phone call, but it logged an SMS without showing the tray icon. So I didn't notice someone sent me a SMS.

I have changed the Action1 to "Bypass" from "Pass on to next rule", now it seems working. By the way, what are difference between "Bypass" and "Pass on to next rule"? It's quite confusing.

"Bypass" means MagiCall will do nothing to calls or SMS, and your phone will ring, or SMS will go into inbox, and MagiCall will return without looking for another matching rule from the list.

"Pass on to next rule" means MagiCall will executes the present rule's Action2 and then look for another matching rule from the list, if a second rule is found, its Action1 and Action2 will be executed. If there is no another matching rule, "Pass on" acts the same as "Bypass".

I'm using Bypass for action1 and Send SMS for action2. It sent out SMS in fact. Am I using the rule correctly?

Yes, you are.
You may only use "Pass on to next rule" to combine rules.
For example, you want to send SMS as well as Email when filtering a call. You may create one rule, and then make a copy of it. Change the first rule action1 to "Pass on to next rule".

I see. Thanks for the clarification. I suggest you spend some time on help document to make all this clear.

I have rule 1, 2, 3, when call or SMS is coming, rule 1 will be checked, if rule 2 is fired and its action1 is pass to next rule. The program will check on rule 3, otherwise it only trigger rule 2 and ignore rule 3. Am I right to say that?
