Prefix outbound call in contacts

Hi!

I'm trying to create a rule that prefixes outbound calls if in contacts. I would like all outgoing calls to contacts to be prepended by 00. another rule is supposed to send calls prefixed 00 to aspecified number and then dial the number. I have set up a rule like this.

rule type: phone outbound
filter type: in contacts
phone #: *
action1: change number
call to: 00{phone}[0,0]

another rule is set up like this:

rule type: phone outbound
filter type: all
phone #: 00*
action 1: change number
call to: +xxxxxxxxxx {phone}[-2,0]

second rule works if a number is dialled prepended with 00, but I want to be able to dial contacts prefixed 00 to be routed through my PBX.

Can it be the order of the rules or what am I doing wrong?

Leave the "Phone #" field empty for the first rule.

I'll try that.

But is there a way to manually add prefix and then get the contact to call so I can choose on a per call basis which way to route the call? this is only an issue with contacts since I can choose to prefix any manually dialled numbers..

No, there isn't. But you can assign categories to contacts, and create a number of rules filtering specific category.

I am really wondering why you would like to create these 2 rules....

Basically rule 1 will for ALL your contacts add '00' to their number.

Rule 2 will then for all the numbers with '00', so basically ALL your contacts again, change the outbout number and loose the '00' because of the {phone}[-2,0]

Why dont you just forget about rule 1??

Sorry, no added value, but I have been scratching my head about this.
