I am looking at using a calling card service to dial international numbers. These services normally have voice prompts and I need to place a 1 second delay in the dial string to accomodate these, can this be done?

Of course, use one comma ',' to pause for one second. To pause for a longer period, you may use a number of commas.
Example: 123456,,,,1,,1,,9876543210
