I just purchased your product today, 01/08/2008, installed, configured it and registered it on my Samsung Blackjack.
I configured the product for a Rule Name, "Phone - Inbound", "Specific number, number in xxxxxxxxx format with no spacing, dashes, etc., Action 1 = "Hang Up", Time 0:00 and 0:00 on all days and checked the Enabled box.
If I call the phone, it sends the caller to voice mail after 2 rings instead of the regular 4.
If I change the Action 1 to "Pick Up/Hang Up" works the first time. All the caller hears is "dead" air.
If you then call the phone again, it forwards to voice mail immediately. Is it possible that the "Dial Up/Hang Up" is not hanging up the phone?
Any helpful thoughts you could give me would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

After the first working "Pick up/Hang up", can you use your Blackjack to make phone call successfully? If you then disable MagiCall, what happen? Thanks.

No, if I try to make a call outbound on the phone after MagiCall has performed "Pick Up/Hang/Up" action, I am shown that the phone is currently connected to an "Unknown" number. I am then unable to disconnect the call from as you normally would by pressing the "red/hang-up" button. The only way to disconnect this call is to power off the phone.
This is using Cingular Service.
Thanks...

Thank you for the information. It looks like the call was not hung up successfully. I will improve the code in the next version to try to avoid the issue.
Can you help me test if the action "Ignore" is working correctly on your device? If this action works, I think I know what the problem was.

The "Ignore" function is working correctly. When the cell phone number is dialed, the cell phone does not ring, and after the standard four rings the caller goes to voice mail as it should...
