I have good news and bad news.
The good news is Apple has released their iPhone SDK and the bad news is I do not find any radio or SMS related APIs in it.

I would love to see it ported to the iphone 2.x. Any update news on the development of this?

I am not sure why the other apps mentioned in the post did not go through the Apple AppStore. Maybe they got rejected.

Anyways you can always release your MigiCall for the iphone in the same manner.

No, that is impossible. Apple does not publish related API for 3rd developers. They reject products using unofficial APIs.
