I have been using MagiCall for a week and it does its job perfectly, however I noticed that MS Voice Command stops working a few minutes after running MagiCall, plus I started receiving Not Enough Memory errors when I try to open Notes, Contats and etc.

I have never received out of memory errors before so I think it might be caused by MagiCall.

Please advice.

Keep up the good work Smiley

Hi Conquistadore,

Thank you for reporting the issue.
Can you please tell me what version of MagiCall you are using?
And if you like, please send the settings.dat and logs.dat file to support@magisoftwarehouse.com.
Thank you.

This is true.  A few months ago I tested this bug over and over by disabling MagiCall by not choosing autostart and then reboot.  And Voice Command stops working a few minutes (sometimes more sometimes less) after running MagiCall.  The version that I tried was v1.2.1.

I think this is a great program but unfortunately it kills MS Voice Command.  I like Voice Command too much so I decided not to buy MagiCall.  Hopefully you can fix this bug soon.

Hi donwe123,

Thank you for the information.
Can you give me your device information such as brand and model, and the version of Voice Command you used?

We will try to test it on a similar environment.

Regards

Yes of course.  It was tested on a Audiovox PPC 6700 with Voice command v1.5 AND v1.6.  I thought updgrading to v1.6 would fix the problem but it did not  Undecided

Thank you, donwe123.

I've not found a demo version of Voice Command so I only did test on my Treo 750v which has a Voice Command 1.5 built-in.
But unfortunately I could not reproduce the issue on my device.
I used VC to execute dialing or opening Calender many times while MagiCall was running in background for nearly 12 minutes, but no error message window opened.
I am afraid that some other programs caused the out-of-memory error.
Can you give me a list of the programs which was installed on your device especially those ones automatically started?

Hi admin,

Thank you for testing.  It seems that the bug usually appears after MagiCall is started and device is asleep for many hours.  I can't tell you how many hours but at least a few, and I don't recall having problem within 12 minutes after MagiCall is started (epecially with device on the whole time).

As on your thought that some other programs caused the out-of-memory error, I gave that some testing as well.  But as I said before, when I disable MagiCall completely by unchecking the auto start and reboot device to make sure that MagiCall is not running at all.  The result is that I no longer have problem with Voice Command.

I hope this help.

Bad news indeed  Undecided  I think you have the best program out there in this category, bar-none.  Like you said, maybe it is caused by out of memory error since I do have quite a few programs installed.  Is there a way to find out which program may be causing error?

Thank you, donwe123.

I think those programs that automatically start and keep running in background may cause this issue, for example today plug-ins, services, or drivers.

But I cannot give their names because I have not met such issue before.
If you give me a list of what you've installed, maybe I can have some ideas.
 Wink

Thank you.

Hi Admin,

Cool new domain name.  Anyway, I have some free time so I downloaded the software to see if I can make it work but software shows expired.  Any thoughts?

Thank you, donwe123.

If you've purchased MagiCall, you can retrieve your new code by this page: www.mobiion.com/resend.php.
If you are using a trial version then I'm out of idea.  Wink
