Hi, I'm currently evaluating MagiCall v 1.2.2 on a Sprint Mogul running WM6.  So far, this is the best call manager I've tested and I'd love to go ahead and register.  However, there is one annoying bug with voice dial on the Mogul.  When MagiCall is active and you use voice dialing, immediately after the call is initiated the prompt to say the command comes up again followed by "Phone is busy. We cannot record".

I have verified that this only occurs when MagiCall is activated and it happens regardless of using a headset or pushing the voice button on the Mogul.

Wondering if there is a registry setting to deal with this?

Once again, this is a great product that does almost exactly what I want (have tried PhotoContacts, SPB, various freewares).

Thanks.

Is the voice dial program Microsoft Voice Command or something else?

I'm just using the built in voice tag capability in WM6.

To recreate, record a voice tag(command) for any contact.  Then using either a BT headset or the phone (doesn't matter), push the "voice" button and wait for the voice command prompt.  Speak the name assigned to the contact.  The phone screen will come up and the contact's number will be dialed as expected.

As soon dialing commences the voice command prompt to record will come up (shouldn't) and display an error dialog as described above.

This only happens when using voice tags assigned to contacts.  If you assign a voice tag to execute some other action, say, starting Google Maps, everything works as expected.

Hopefully, this clarifies things a bit.

Thanks.

It should be Cyberon's Voice Speed Dial in your OS.
I've just downloaded an old version of it and tested on my HTC Wizard (with WM6). But I've not reproduced the issue. I will do more test and let you know the result. Thanks.

Unfortunately I could not reproduce the issue. I was using cyberon Voice Speed Dial v1.1 build 510191 on HTC Wizard WM6 v5.2.660 (15862) for the test.  Sad
